• Deal Lake

  A 158-acre lake with 12.5 miles of shoreline that almost surrounds Interlaken. It is managed by a commission of the seven towns on its shore and is popular for fishing, boating and bird-watching.

About Interlaken

Interlaken is a small, quiet residential borough almost surrounded by Deal Lake. It was laid out in the 1890s by Dr. Francis Weld and named for Interlaken in Switzerland. It has been a Tree City USA community for 35 years and shares police, fire, first aid and court services with Deal and Allenhurst.
