How do I change my town?

On the Today tab, tap your town name under the greeting (or open Settings from the gear icon) and pick a new one. Every tab updates right away.

Why don't I see distances from where I am?

"Near me" uses your location only on your phone. If you declined location access, turn it on in your phone's Settings → Monmouth County Local Guide → Location. Without it, distances are measured from your home town.

How do emergency alerts work?

Turn them on from the "Get emergency alerts" card on Today or the Alerts screen. You'll get a notification when the National Weather Service issues a warning for Monmouth County (tornado, flooding, snow and ice, extreme heat, high winds). Urgent warnings come any time; others wait until 7 a.m.

Trash reminders aren't arriving

Open Today → Trash day and make sure your pickup days are set and reminders are on. Also check that notifications are allowed for the app in your phone's Settings.

Where do the news, events and phone numbers come from?

News comes from local outlets and official town notices; events come from town, county park, library and venue calendars; phone numbers were checked against official town and county websites. Information can change, so confirm important details with the source listed in the app.

What do "Most saved" counts mean?

They show how many people using the app hearted a place or bookmarked an event. Counts are anonymous. See the Privacy Policy.
